Award winning collection: Best Collection in Jury of Selection
Bewitched Recollections is a bridge women’s semi-formal collection for the Spring/Summer season. Inspired by the connections between nature and nostalgia, the collection blends vintage-inspired elements with natural motifs. Made for a female-presenting customer, Bewitched Recollections is fit for the customer looking for sustainable, timeless, and feminine looks. Sustainability is key in this collection, as it is upcycled from worn white silk dresses, rayon dresses and from deadstock lace appliques, fabrics, and trims. The entire collection is dyed with natural dyes sourced from food waste— including avocado pits/skins for pink, pecan shells for tan, and walnut shells for dark brown. The collection also features one-of-a-kind eco-prints completed by hand using locally sourced flowers and leaves. Customizable elements such as detachable sleeves, flared sleeves with drawstrings, and waist ties allow the customer to style their looks to suit the occasion.
